Course Description:

Students will learn about the fashion industry, the social use of clothing, and modern fashion history through the people, events, politics, and cultures that have affected change.

Learning Objectives:

After successful completion of this course, students will be able to: Assess, integrate, and apply knowledge of the history of dress to creative projects. Recognize and evaluate the historical changes and influences on cultural dress in the United States. Identify and evaluate the history and influence of the fashion industry in the United States.
